Requirements for independent study

Please keep in mind that, in order to do an independent study, you must be current with:
-- Blogging
-- Meetings with Lynne/written summaries included in blog that day
-- Completed folder sheets and evaluations (whether for a current independent study or for any facilitated Laurel class that requires folder sheets)
-- Written work/other documentation/online coursework (whether for a current independent study or for any facilitated Laurel class)
-- An independent study proposal for the following semester (for Spring 2022 semester, proposals are due Monday, Jan. 3) Proposals turned in after the due date may not be approved.

Remember: independent study at Laurel is a privilege and not an entitlement. You earn the opportunity to study independently by meeting the above requirements. Failure to do any/all of them consistently may result in no independent study for the foreseeable future.
