A accident-so sorry!!

  01/13/19 19:10, by Rowan

I am sorry. I worked on my infographic and made the mistake of plagiarizing. I wrote everything myself in my own words from lots of different sources but one of the sections which I copied by total accident without thinking. I forgot to reword. I have deleted it and an I am not counting it as a project. Now I will be putting more work into my next project to make up for this embarrassing mistake. If there are consequences I will accept them, although it was unconscious, It was my mistake and I feel bad for it. I especially wouldn’t have done this right after Renee warning us not to do it.

Also: If it looked like I copied off anything else, I really thought I wasn’t. I never tried to plagiarize and I am sorry if I did.

I think the best thing to do is to just not count that as a project and move on by learning from your mistake. If you were not intentionally plagiarizing I don’t think that this should become an issue.

I think that it is very important that you recognized your mistake.

Re-wording IS plagiarism, Rowan!

Nobody “makes a mistake” and plagiarizes – you plagiarize because you are looking to short cut effort and thinking to pass an assignment(best) or (worst) you steal the effort and thought of another and attribute this effort and thought to yourself.

Both of these are not accidental.
