I propose that our class uses next Monday as a presentation day. Going off of John's "Projects for Evaluation(s)" post, it appears that we have 39 completed projects awaiting presentations. We could give each project two minutes to fit them all in. Since presentations are a part of our standards, we could spend the class time revising those standards for the one class left if people would rather do that, or we could use it as a presentation day. Please comment if you would be interested in this.

Thanks Dylan!

I do not think presentations should be mandatory since we have discussed what standards projects need to meet in order for them to even deserve
to be presented.

Thanks Dylan! I agree with what Tangwyn said. I don’t think the presentations should be maditoy because of those reasons and because a lot of the projects people do can not be presented, like reading a book or something that they can just share on the blog. But by all means anyone who would like to present can. Also, we need to talk about everyone commenting the project rating on the blog because not everyone has been doing that.

I agree with everything Rowan said.

I do believe that all of the projects posted have passed the requirements, but I understand your point about presentability. Maybe we could take the first fifteen minutes of the class time to clarify the standards around project presentation and then spend whatever time necessary for those who would like to present.

An alternative suggestion – given the time shortage – every class member could have three minutes to present all their projects and therefore concentrate on the one or two best or most presentable

I agree with what John said. We literally only have 2 more classes. We should not waste any time talking about standards that aren’t even going to matter for the last 2 days.

We should make time for EVERYONE in the class to present on whatever project/s they would like. You DO NOT need to present on all of your projects, but I’m sure at least everyone could present on 1 of theirs.

Lets make this a plan for Monday.

I agree with what Cedella has said. I think we should make time for presentations, but not make it mandatory for everyone to present on some project that they don’t need to present on. Some of our projects are mostly based on data, and if the data is shown I don’t think you need to present on that. We should still make time for presentations, since it was part of our standards.
