# Project #1

So since John said we have to have the class rate the first project we did too, here is what I did:

First I took 20 random pennies and flipped all of them together.

I did this 10 times and recorded how many heads and tails I got each time.

I was very surprised and kinda skeptical at my results:

1. (rolled 20 coins) 11 heads - 9 tails

2. (20) 9 heads - 11 tails

3. (20) 12 heads - 8 tails

4. (20) 8 heads - 12 tails

5. (20) 9 heads - 11 tails

6. (20) 11 heads - 9 tails

7. (20) 9 heads - 11 tails

8. (20) 11 heads - 9 tails

9. (20) 11 heads - 9 tails

10. (20) 11 heads - 9 tails

Overall I flipped 98 tails and 102 heads.

So as you can see the pattern of heads and tails repeats a lot... and flips... I realized this after a few flips and even tried throwing the coins differently (I don't think it changed anything)

After I recorded my data I made a graph of it. I put the # of heads and tails on the y-axis and the number of the flip on the x-axis.

I also made a circle graph and put the overall number of heads I got and the overall number of tails I got in it.

I colored in both the graphs and labeled them.

I spent at least an hour on this project and am counting it as one project.
