Project

  01/15/19 21:50, by Caspian

For this project, I did some order of magnitude problems. I spent some time figuring out what a order of magnitude problem actually is, and what they are used for. Then I looked up some problems on the internet, and based my problems off them. I messed around with them for a bit, just to get a handle on things, but then I figured out some problems I could do, and I solved for them. An example problem was finding how much tread of a tire you lose after driving a single mile. This was fun, but it is also frustrating dealing with extremely small numbers. I never actually knew about these problems, I had just dealt with little bits of them in the past, but it was definitely a learning experience.

Sounds like you learned a lot! How much tread does a tire lose in a mile?

I would like to see all that you came up with, what were the other problems you did?
